Email Copy Made Easy - How Wide Should Your Emails Be?
Sounds like a silly question, but it's actually very critical to your internet marketing efforts.
Because let's face it--you get a ton of emails every day. And some are only a few words wide while others are so wide you have to scroll across to read them. Is there a width that works best for marketing purposes?
Yes! And here's why...
If the line width is too short, the eye has to jump too often. This fatigues the eye, because it's not used to reading in this manner. So the reader clicks away because it's too tiring to read the email.
If the email width is too long, however, the eyes get tired as well because they have to read across the entire width of the email-which in some cases goes clear off the space and you have follow with the scroll bar, then bring it all the way to the beginning just like an old carriage style typewriter.
So either way you're going to lose your readers-not to mention the sale.
I suggest a line width of 55-60 characters. In all my years of writing autoresponder and email copy, this has proven to be the most effective width and the easiest to read.
Most text editors let you preset the width. If your text editor doesn't do this, here's a sneaky (and easy) way to do it:
--Bring up your window in your text editor. --Go to the very top left hand corner and type in "0123456789." That's 10 characters. --Copy that line and paste it back to back with the line you just typed. Now you have 20 characters. Then do it again, and you have 30 characters. Do it again, and you have 40 characters. Do it one more time, and you have 50 characters. --Now go ahead and type your email. When you reach the end of the 50 character line, you'll know it's time to return.

5 Steps to Creating a 6-7 Figure Business As a Solopreneur
Most people don't go through all the sweat and pain of creating a new business to earn minimum wage. So if you have a dream of earning a living from your own business, what's preventing you from not only having a BIG dream, but of actually achieving that dream?

This is actually much easier than you might expect. Remember those "Hot Emotional Triggers?" Learn to effectively satisfy your market's greatest wants, needs and desires in your own unique and genuine way and you'll soon position yourself as the "Go-To" person in your niche.

Give your market something that they can sink their teeth into. What can a client expect after working with you or buying your products? Remember, your clients are paying for results; plain and simple, so tell them what they can expect.

Rules of Good English in Technical Writing
Here are three rules that will help you write technical documents that are much easier to read, understand and remember.
1) Follow the subject of the sentence immediately with the verb.
For example: "The operator [SUBJECT], after consulting with her supervisor, normalized [VERB] the database."
BETTER: "The operator normalized the database after consulting with her supervisor."
2) Chain-link multiple sentences in a paragraph by ending and starting consecutive sentences with the same topic.
For example: "The new Xenon encrypted servers were installed yesterday after a two month delay. The wrong encryption key was the reason why the installation did not go smoothly. The Project Management, in order to prevent the same issue in the future, decided to implement a new encryption key management system."
TOPIC 1: Servers installed. Should be at the END of Sentence 1. TOPIC 2: Installation not going smoothly. Sentence 2 should START with that. TOPIC 3: Wrong encryption key. Should be at the END of Sentence 2. TOPIC 4: A new encryption key management system. Sentence 3 should START with that. TOPIC 5: Preventing the same issue in the future. Should be at the END of Sentence 3.
BETTER: "After a two month delay, the new Xenon encrypted servers were installed yesterday. The installation did not go smoothly due to wrong encryption key. A new encryption key management system will be implemented by the Project Management to prevent the same issue in the future."
3) Consolidate the group of short sentences written about the same topic.
For example: "When there is too much load, network should be shut down. Only an Admin can shut down the network. 10,000 logins per minute is the upper limit of what the network can carry."
BETTER: "The network, which can carry a maximum load of 10,000 logins a minute, should be shut down by an authorized Admin when that limit is superseded."

MySpace.com. Facebook.com. LinkedIn.com. Friendster.com!!! They are leaders in the era of Social Marketing. Internet has come into an entirely new level. So online marketing.
